If I was to tell you one thing I have never been good at it would have to be…drawing. Since elementary school I always hated drawing because I suck at it. Fortunately things changed when i came to tech design class, I started having interest in drawing and i became better and better. So this year our big assignment is the cabin project and for one of out beginning steps in the assignment we had to sketch some drawings of our cabin. When sketching there are many techniques one can use to draw, the most common is free drawing with a 2hb pencil. During my drawing process I used different shades to show different parts of my cabin. For example the main frame was a darker shade where the colour of the logs was of a lighter shade. The part of the drawing process which I found most difficult was actually making the cabin look 3D, but after practicing and practicing I finally got the hang of it. It’s positive that I have learned to sketch because if I ever get an assignment if the future which requests me to draw will be prepared for any challenge.
Below is a picture of ONE of my final sketches.
